\nbeautiful Himalayan village. Alongside running a small sweet shop, they noticed a growing
\nnumber of travelers and pilgrims passing through their village towards Madhmaheshwar Temple.
\nTourists often struggled to find neat, affordable, and homely places to stay. Seeing this need \u2014
\nand with encouragement from their friends and family \u2014 they decided to open a homestay by
\nconverting the extra rooms in their home.
\nWhat started as a simple idea has now become a welcoming stop for trekkers, families, and solo
\ntravelers. Rekha personally looks after the cooking, while Gajpal manages the rooms and
\nbonfire evenings. Their children and relatives often help during the busy season, making it a
\ntruly family-run space where guests are treated like old friends.<\/p>\n
