Himalaya Home Stay is a warm pahadi home run by Sushma Pundir. Known for her work as a
social worker and active role in women empowerment, Sushma also works as a local travel
guide, sharing the beauty and traditions of her homeland with visitors.
The idea for this homestay took shape in 2023 after a session with Himmotthan, where Sushma
realised the growing need for clean, comfortable homestays in the region. Inspired by other
local homestays and driven by a passion to preserve the culture and provide employment within
the village, she opened her doors to travelers looking for a calm and scenic place to stay.
