Kafal Tree Homestay, Ushada Village

A peaceful stay in the lap of the mountains
Nestled in the quiet lanes of Ushada village, Kafal Tree Homestay is a simple and cozy retreat
for travellers heading towards Tungnath, Chandrashila, Deoria Taal, and Makku Math. This
homestay is owned and lovingly managed by Vandana Devi and Pradeep Singh, a husband-wife
duo who wanted to stay connected to their land and culture while meeting the growing need for
clean, homely, and peaceful stays in the region.
Pradeep Singh noticed how the number of tourists visiting the area was rising year by year, and
while Ushada had its charm, there weren’t enough good stays where visitors could feel at ease.
Determined to create a space that reflects their Garhwali heritage and offers simple mountain
comforts, the couple started Kafal Tree Homestay in 2024. Their idea was clear — offer clean
rooms, warm food, and the kind of hospitality people remember long after their journey.
