Tritiya Kedar Homestay, Ushada Village
A peaceful pahadi stay surrounded by mountains and treks
Nestled in the serene Ushada village, Tritiya Kedar Homestay is a warm, family-run homestay
perfectly located for travelers heading to Tungnath, Deoria Taal, Makku Math, and Chopta.
Managed by Mamta Devi and Satendra Singh Bajwal, this homestay is built on their love for
their land, heritage, and the growing need for clean and comfortable stays for visitors exploring
this beautiful region.
Mamta Devi, a trek guide for over a year, has guided countless groups to Deoria Taal, Chopta,
and local trails. She also runs a YouTube channel sharing trekking tips and glimpses of Pahadi
lifestyle. Satendra Singh runs a tuition and computer center in the village and assists travelers
with trek routes and local stories. Together, inspired by Himmotthan’s homestay initiative and
after closely observing the increasing tourist footfall in nearby villages, they started Tritiya Kedar
Homestay in 2022.
Their idea was simple — to offer a calm, clean, and homely stay to travelers while staying
rooted in their own village and preserving their local culture.
